I had this exact thing happen to me a on a previous boat. The culprit, in my case, was the the remote control button for either the left or right movement control had broken in the in "ON" position. I got a new remote from the local Minn-Kota rep and the problem was fixed that same moment. My guess is that the very same thing could happen with the pedal. In any case, that and a host of other bow-mount issues seem to be addressed quite well by the company and their reps.

Make sure your batteries are charged up. If there is a low voltage situation, this will happen. I've had this happen to me several times in the past with powerdrive and terrova models.

Charger says batteries are fully charged. They are only 2 years old, also took the batteries out of my remotes to make sure they weren't stuck.. Same thing...

Could be the main control board in the co-pilot. That's what fixed mine with the same problem.
