Posts: 706 Location: Richland Center, WI. | Passed by a rummage sale the other day and saw a heavy rod with an Abu Garcia on it propped against the garage. Thought I better check it out. Picked up this topwater and trying to figure out what it is. Made of wood, 7 1/4 inches long. Through wired with soldered loops. Has glass eyes and one single pin (not screw) epoxied in to hold the blade in the tail. Front two treble hooks are bent slightly at the eyelet to let the hooks lay back against the lure. Any ideas? Tried to search last night but came up empty. Thanks, Ken Attachments ---------------- top1.JPG (80KB - 152 downloads) top2.JPG (72KB - 150 downloads)

Posts: 2894 Location: Yahara River Chain | Agreed LeLure Thumper but not sure if it was actually made by Frenchy himself, but rather after he sold the company (or maybe had someone else mass product them). I also say great find. I notice its has one pin holding the tail in. It does that well, but over heavy usage that tail will pivot away from the tail section and its hard to make it stay after it 1st starts. Good to go. If you don't plan to use it and want to sell, don't staple, as could reduce value.

Posts: 706 Location: Richland Center, WI. | Thanks for the replies. Thought it looked like an old LeLure but did not have the name on it. Got it for $8.00. I asked the old guy who sold it to me if he had any other old musky lures to sell. He said he was hanging on to them to give to his grandkids. Ken
