| Getting to where I'm going to start making up some leaders for the upcoming season and have heard some good things about this brand of snaps over the years. Wondering where these can be purchased...
Thanks,

| Mark,
I purchased some of these at Bass Pro Shops in Gurnee, IL a few years ago. I'm not sure if they still carry them, but it would be worth a check if you're going to the Chicago show.

| Mark,
I started using Stringease Stay-locked snaps this past season and really like them a lot. Rollie & Helens carries them. I think Captain Larry uses them also. They're like a cross-lock on steroids. |

| moore's lure have them in three sizes, and cheaper I think. |

| Bass Pro and Cabbela's both have them.
Those are the kind I use and found no problems with them. I did however find that Berkley crosslocks are back with a good snap again. So strong they dent your fingernail. That is the way they used to be back in the 80's. |

| Thanks guys, I appreciate the help.
I got my new Bass Pro and Cabella's the other day in the mail so I'll check it out.
Nice to hear Berkely has come back...I have had big problems with their stuff.... Jason, how do you know if you a getting the "new and improved" over the older stuff that just may have been hanging on the peg in the store. I can get Berkely's at Gander Mt. right here in town...?
Best,
