I was at BPS the other day and i saw this lure. Has anyone used them? how do they compare to the original bulldawg? They seemed to be much cheaper

Posts: 1100 | Im from Denmark where product was "invented" and theres a reason i rather pay the higher price and buy them in the "the States" imo they are a very poor copy and Savage Gear misunderstood the hole concept of how the bulldawg is produced, and the action in the water is no way near as sexy as the original dawgs. If your looking for some cheap ones to safe money, ill go with the TI superD.

Same oppinion here. I have an alien eel lying around, but i would never use it. It is a bad replica of the dawgs. If you want it cheaper, go for TI's version. Way better imo.

Posts: 4053 Location: Land of the Musky | Just an FYI but all of the new Bass Pro SuperDs now have a new harness system in them. Same coil harness to keep the body locked down but we moved the weight system back just a little to give the BP baits more glide vs a hop. Brand new colors for BP this year too. We added 4 new colors in the MiniD, Reg SuperD and Mag SuperD line for Bass Pro. you can only get them on their website. We had a few at the Milwaukee show for guys to see but here they are for those of you who were not able to see them. Posts: 339 Location: Denmark | At least when you copy something, be sure you are add some improvements to the original design. That's called evolution. The Alien Eel has been invented by Ex Carp anglers, who obviously has never ripped big rubber before. To light, to little swing in the tail when you speed it up. Over here most people troll it, as in Europe, you will find it hard, getting an 8 feet rod that can handle anything bigger than a spring dawg. SuperD is the better lure, if you want to save money.
