| I am heading up to the Big V next week. Since I will be leaving the boat in the water at the resort do you guys have any tips as far as keeping everyting running smoothly?
Should I add heet to the gas, what about the batteries? Will plugging them in be enough or should I wrap them up? |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Just use the boat as you would at any time. Don't put Heet in the gas, you won't need it. Until it's REALLY cold you have no worries, especially since you will be leaving the boat in the water. |

Location: oswego, il | Big thing with gas is when it sets awhile. I always put staybil marine formula in both my boats. Used to be they would run rough if I had not used one in awhile or have trouble starting. not anymore. |

Location: Hayward WI | I wouldn't worry about the boat, but if it's going to freeze at nite, bring in the reels so they can dry out and they're not frozen in the morning. |

Location: Weyauwega Wi. | Get some armor all wipes also. If you wipe the shaft on your trolling motor it won't freeze tight when stowing it.

Location: Contrarian Island | if you are expecting snow/ice/rain and freezing temps if you can cover it i would...if you aren't going to cover it and expecting snow/sleet etc then I would suggest:
bringing in foot pedal, rods,reels
spray tm shaft w wd40 or some sort of oil lubricant
bring along spray lock deicer
