| I'm going to be in MSP for a very brief meeting on Monday Oct. 1st. I can't decide whether to head on up to Vermilion or hiring a guide to try my luck in MSP. Does anyone have any recommendations for guides in MSP and how has the bite been down there? Or, is anyone going out and they need a second in their boat? I will be free by 11 on Monday. |

| At the risk of being blunt, no one is the best... Schroeder is a good option but no one person is the best every day. The bite in the Metro has been decent with warming temps slowing it a bit of late. John Hoyer, Ben Olson, Andy Hamm, Josh Brovosky, Travis Frank are other great options that I know personally...and there are a few others as well. The big V can be a bit dicey this time of year as it will be close to turning over...that said I am heading up for a shot at the queen this weekend anyways. |

| Vermillion is a great body of water, but a LONG trip fom the metro. Call Travis Frank and you will have a blast guaranteed! Www.trophyencounters.com
I have no vested interest in promoting Travis, but have fished and guided with him and know he wll produce for you.
