Just wondering whats going on for water temps on leech.. specifically portage bay, south down around pelican and in the walker area. Thanks for any help. Have a trip planned there and just trying to decide my plan of attack.. I am thinking its going to be more of a walleye trip unless there are water temps under 80 out there somewhere. thanks for the info.

Just got off the phone with my brother in law on the lake now. 79-81 on the east side near Bear but not in HQ. Probably warmer there.

Thank you sir, I appreciate that. sounds like its mainly bass and walleyes for this trip. maybe a couple hours right away in the morning, just be playing it by ear once I get up there.

Hey Andy, I'm assuming thats you under the Gander Mtn Man handle. Its Dan Burrow i used to run into you and chat the muskellungo at gander in maple grove all the time. Ive been perched on leech all season since opener. Water temps are getting up there. I have had 75-77 at the back of the boat about two feet down the last few weeks on the north end.
