| Ive tried various wax's on my fiberglass boat, most work for about a day or 2 on the water then its no evident of the glossy wax finish it leaves.. I have very very minor oxidation on the top of the boat and just wondering what you guys use for wax and a buffer system? |

| Welcome Genelia!
If you have some oxidation, you will need to use a compound and buffer to take care of that. Then a good marine wax should bring out the shine and protect it.
I waxed my glass boats once a year, and always wiped them down after loading. Do this everytime, and your boat will stay looking clean and shiny. I use old soft terry cloth towels, but microfiber towels will work great too. Just have to wring them out alot. I take a spray bottle of mild CLR mixture for the lower unit to help remove the calcium scum that forms on there from the exhaust heat.
