Hey guys just want to pick your brain. I am going to head up there on the 22nd of june with my 13 year old son for musky and walleye.
Anyone have any info on this place? This will be my first time and my sons first time up there and would like to be able to put him on some great fishing.
Any help would be great
Thanks

Find the walleyes and you will find the muskys. I've been to that chain twice not a ton of big fish but good numbers between 38 and 42 inches. pm me and i'll give you a little more info.

Don't underestimate the value of information provided by the resort owners.
Hiring a guide for one of your first days there can shorten the learning curve for you on unfamiliar waters as well as give you some early success and knowledge of where and what is working at the moment for whatever species that you are pursuing.

I used to fish there quite a bit...There's a lot of fish in the flooded out timber beds, there's several in Indian Lake and also several in the back end of Edwards lake that leads into the other lakes of the chain. Topwaters and bucktails ( when the trees will allow) will take fish, don't be afraid to go SHALLOW as you possibly can in some of those areas....

There's a channel between an island with green weeds and timber between Indian and Edwards. good spot as well...And moving firther down the chain Cobble is usually loaded with fish, it's darker water and bright bladed bucktails should be a good choice...

I've heard various reports the overall fishing quality has gone down int he chain over the past 5+ years and it is not what it used to be...still should be fish there to ctach in numbers though Im sure

good luck

I have stayed at Indian Lake Lodge, though it was about 6 years ago. IF they are under the same management I would HIGHLY suggest you do ALOT of research into where the fish are and how they can be caught. My experience was when asking where the fish were at that time of year the answer was basically "in the lake". What they were going on was "lures".
