--Ok, you want a big dollar tournament, how would be your “IDEAL” tournament be set up?--

Knowing that payouts are based on a full field, what should be considered a full field?

One needs to take into consideration the lakes are a public resource and size of the water should determine size of the field. 120 would work on a few of the big ones. It would really screw weekend warriors on anything under, say, 40,000 acres.

As a weekend warrior(on the muskie side), i don't care if a tourney is coming. I just find another lake to fish that weekend. I certainly am not going to fish that lake when there is tourney going on, no matter the size. Not a big deal to me.

Now, I put down 50, but probably really mean 100, if it's a team tourney. 50 boats/100 anglers. I just don't think there are enough anglers out there that will pony up $1250+ ea. entry fee for a major tourney with a big payout for the winners.

I want a tournament set up just like the Hartman series left off.

50 boats x $600 per boat + All MN Tournaments + CPR Format = Full field.
