Location: Madison Wi. Chain | I really liked using the squirelly phantoms last fall, I was wondering if there is any quick and easy ways to make a regular phantom into a Squirrelly? BG |

| The best way I can think of is to sell the regular Phantom on eBay (or this forum) and use those proceeds to purchase a squirrelly tail. |

| I don't have any reg phantoms to compare but couldn't you just remove the back hook. Trim that end down. Slap some epoxy there and then glue on a grub tail... |

Location: WI | I tried the project 2 years ago and failed. I believe Roger is correct...you'd need to add some weight to the back end of the 'new' squirrely version to get it to glide again. |

Location: Okoboji | you can try it,,,maybe it would run a little wild,,,it would make it different and might trigger the fish. |
