| It has been a veerry busy fall for me and my family and as a result, I had only been fishing twice, (both lousy fishing days) since August, (which my wife will tell you is unheard of for me). To top it off, I have been feeling ill for a month and been going through a battery of tests. Needless to say, I reeeaally needed to go fishing.
This weekend, my buddy and I took off for 2 days of fishing.
Saturday was terrible! Battery was dead in the boat and we ended up catching nothing. I felt like crap and was sleeping or popping advil and gravol off and on in the boat. That night at the motel I had a few beers and felt great - go figure.
Sunday - I woke up feeling awesome and we hit a different body of water with a freshly charged battery. What a great day. We boated 8 very fat musky (3 just under 40", two 45", 46", 47" and a 50.5" that my buddy got - his first over 50!). I lost a couple other horses too.
What a great finish to a tough fall. I should winterize the boat now and finish on a high note - but I likely won't cause I am a dumbass:)
Sorry no pics yet but I will get my friend to send me them and I will add them to the post tonight. I feel great today - a few beers and muskies seem to be the cure for me.

Location: 31 | Still out there chucking lures in November after a weak season? I think that's a pretty good testimonial to your perseverance and fortitude! Fantastic day, especially in the late fall... congratulations!
