Just wondering what kind of Lathe you guys are using. I am going to put one on my christmas list. Looking at getting a mini Lathe. Any suggestions on what kind to get or not to get any suggestions would be great.

Jet is one of the top brands, and I love mine! At the same time I have made a lot of baits on a cheap one I bought from HF and it's still rolling strong.

I have a Delta Midi, I have had it for 8 years and have probably turned 400 blanks, mostly maple and oak. The only thing I have had to do to it is replace the belt.
It is small but if you take your time with the hard wood it will get the job done.

That's basically the same lathe I have. It will work just fine for a hobby bait maker.
