| Thanks everyone for a great time at Cass this last week.Though I didn't get one in the boat the amount that I learned from you guys was huge. Everyone was really cool and hope we can get the same guys up next year + some more of the Muskiefirst nuts. I wish I would have gotten to fish with some of you guys but I had the pride of Iowa with me and didn't want to burden anyone else with him[;)]
Big thanks to Papa Joe, seems I could always catch one with you[]
Email me your # and we'll hit the metro.
Theedz and Mike, you guys are way cool and always good for a laugh...also thanks for the extra 10 lbs. I'm gonna have to check into overeaters annon.
Ranger,Al(esoxmaniac),Fish on, thanks a ton for the hospitality and hope to fish together in the future.
The Wisconsin guys (Dave,Mike K., Mark H.,Jason S. and the others) Can't wait to hook up with you guys on Pewaukee next year when I'm living in Chi-town. You guys are a blast and also a wealth of muskie knowledge.
Also the other guys in my cabin, Treats and Cady, oh! and the Duck. Thanks for the laughs and the late night visit, thank god I couldn't open my eyes that night the Shady side of the moon was out.....I owe the Big Papa for that one. You guys are great and I will see you out on the metro I'm sure.
Again, thanks everyone for a great week!

You guys are great. If John's still looking for a board name, "Clipper" would be a good one, eh?
Holler at me if you ever get up to the UP. |

I'll come up to the U.P. next year for sure. Clipper will work, now all we have to do is get electric in that hillbilly's shack[;)] Then get him a computerizer so he can do some cipherin' on the internet.

| Tee Hee...
I knew I was in good company early on, when I started seeing Dead stickers on people's boats & gear.
Exceptional trip and what a great deal on a very nice cabin!!
I also got skunked (and still no muskies for 2002!) but came away having been net man on Jason Smith's big fat 48inch pig. Learned from some great guys: Jason, Duck (44incher), Treats (fat 38inch), and Mikey.
Sure saw a lot of muskies esp on Thursday and Wednesday, it felt like a National Geographic show with clear water and sun. I had a follow from my biggest fish ever, but it turned off early, didn't seem all that interested.
So maybe fall will be better this year! I at least have a few new ideas and a few new baits to try, including a sure-fire orange Muskie Treat and a Sqirko. (That's muskietreats.com)
See you guys on Tonka, and watch for a Namekagon trip in October.
Later,
Papa Joe

| Phish Killer...
Glad you enjoyed the trip, it was nice meeting you.
Should you get the "hankerin" to get serious about my esox mag give me a call. You won't find a nicer used rig.
Good luck with you move and remember to look up Scott Jenkins when you get settled in IL.
