Location: Wisconsin Rapids, WI | I'm looking to pick up a handheld marine radio primarily for monitoring the weather in the Northwest Angle, something that receives NOAA and Canadian Weather transmissions. Any suggestions?
Thanks |

Location: Eastern Ontario | I have a Standard Horizons unit that works well everywhere I have been. In Canada you are required to have a Restricted operator's Certificate ( Maritime)to transmit but not necessary to monitor weather channels. |

Location: Michigan | Icom is what i use now. Standard Horizon has a pretty good reputation. I have not had good luck with Uniden or Humminbird units. |
