| Where is the best place in the twin cities metro area to buy Muskie Lures? I am looking for the biggest bucktails that I can find! I am also looking for double bladed bucktails. I have found that a bucktail with a chartruse tail hooked on the end of it has produced more follows and hits. Has anyone else noticed any specifics on their baits that have seemed to produce more fish? Was out on saturday morning, weather was perfect, my fishing partner lost one about ten feet from that boat that was definitely 45+, hopefully the action heats up soon. Please share your ideas etc.. with me, it seems like everyone reads the posts, but no one responds. Good luck to all my fellow muskie hunters, the fishing is only going to get better from now til the end of fall! |

| It's not in the Twin Cities, but Rollie & Helens is about the best place I've found to buy lures. They usually get to me in about 2-3 days and I live in Rochester, MN. They have a great web site and pictures of many of the lures they sell. You might check it out at muskyshop.com

7500 N. University, Fridley.
Love those guys!! Stay a while and pick their brains, all those guys are musky freaks.
Also check out Water & Woods Sports & resale about 2 blocks north on same side of University. I got some great big bucktails there. Some ridiculously cheap tackle on their sale tables too!
Have a groovy day,
