Just wondering what the experts have to say when comparing these two baits.
Did a search and was shocked there was not more info on this comparison.
I have not yet thrown the Pounder--do not have a rod heavy enough.
But wondering if perhaps it would be worth investing in a dedicated Pounder rod.
For me its so much easier and fun to throw the Mag Dawg with the double ten rod.
Not to mention the size difference is not all that great between the two baits, especially with the long flowing tail.
Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. |

| Have always thought the same thing, not much size differance.... Have got just as much action with Mags compared to the pounder JMO |

Location: SE Wisc and Vilas County | love both baits. hands down the pounder is a big fish bait. caught more fish on mag dawgs but the big girls love the pounder. |

Location: WI | They both will catch fish. Some days one better than the other. I personally prefer the pounder b/c I'm fishing deep weedlines most of the time and I think the pounder is easier to keep in the deep weeds. W/ the right set up, the pounder is not that bad to throw all day. |

| Whooaa buddy Looks are diff then feel there. In the water the pounder and mag look similar in sizes is what i meant. |
