| The river is lined with thick reeds with up to 3 ft of water on the outer edge, then dropping most of the time to the channel. A lot of the shallow bays have reed patches, too. What bait would work to get thru the reeds without getting hung up with the hooks? Is there one? I always thought a buzz bait like for bass would work, but I've never seen one in muskie size. |

| Terry,Two lures that come to my mind would be a Raddog spinnerbait and a Boogerman buzzbait. Both go threw reeds without any problems. Jackpots work good to as long as the reeds arent to thick.Good Luck ! |

| Sounds like you need a good solid sturdy spinnerbait. Some call them "Grinders"
