| Does anyone have a good way to cut lip slots? |

| we use a table saw and set the arbor at your desired angle. also, the fence and miter gauge are good for accurate, repeatable set ups. Use a stacked dado blade for thicker cuts with one pass. |

| What about if I already shaped the lure so there are no flat sides? |

| Rick, you could make a jig to index your shaped blank for cutting the lip slot. typically we cut lip slots before shaping the body profile. |
