I have two Hughes River baits that are in dyer need of paint. One is an 8" shaker, the other an 8" Hughey. The clear coat has come off and the paint is now starting to fall off. Hooks have been getting lodged in the tail of the baits so there are numerous "pin pricks" in the tails of the baits, especially the shaker. Something close to the original paint jobs would be nice but I'm far more concerned with durability because every time the hooks get caught in the wood, it throws off the action of the baits. This is my first post; hpefully pictures will display.

I do that for people all the time.
My advice to you is stop using lures that are in that bad shape before you make the wood rot.
Send me a PM or email and we can talk over the process and what your expectations are.
