| heading up tomorrow, wondering how the fishing has been. First time to the area staying at Angle outpost. I'm getting sick of jet skiers in the Metro. I'll post our results next week. |

| Go to Tim Anderson guide service site, he was up there last week and posted a report. Fishing decent but should be heating up with the warmer weather....look forward to your report. |

| My gal and I just got back from the NW Angle Saturday night. All our bigger fish came on Double 10's but we also moved fish on spinnerbaits and cranks. She had fish climbing all over her Top Raider but only managed to have one get hooks. Water temps. started at 65 in the morning and did get up to 70 on sunny days. With the warmer week projected, things could really start to heat up. We ended up with (9), from 30 to 47 inches. Good luck.

| We ended up boating 5 in two days...Friday was much better saw 21 fish on Friday alone. I got a nice fish on my second cast of the trip...Welcome to lake of the Woods! Satruday was very wet, with hail and a huge wind storm at around 5pm so we didn't end up getting to fish the evening bite. Overall I'm pretty happy with our results. Small spinners and slower moving non aggressive topwaters were the trick. The fish seemed to want the baits moving slow...I'm sure that changes from day to day. I can't believe how shallow the fish were. Most if not all were in less than 3 feet of water. |
