I normally don't start fishing until April. Am I missing out?
I think March might be the best time to catch a state record (I'm in Missouri). So,

What's your favorite lure and color for March?

How do you work the lure for the best result?

What part of the lake is best?

Thanks for you help....

Chrome Rattlin Shad hands down worked very very fast on shallow flats.

Thanks Justin,

I've heard the Rattlin Shad was a popular spring time bait in KY. I doubt if I would have ever tried working one very very fast. Thanks again.

Suspending twitch baits are the ticket for my boat in march both for clients and myself. Big Games with 3x hooks are as good as it gets. Also weighted suicks work great fished slower.

I have to say a Mepps Musky Killer #5. Put my PB in the bag last March.
