I have a blade that I want to repaint, I believe I have it preped all paint is stripped I have sanded the surface and wiped it with alcohol. is there anything else I need to do? I honestly was going to hit it with some krylon then put some kind of a clear on top. Also, I want to hit it with a bit of glitter to, should I put it in the base coat or in the top coat? Thanks for your help

I have used Rustoleum and it seemed to work well. If you do a thin coat of clear I would put the sparkles in the clear. You can also "blow" some sparkles over the wet paint and then spray a clear over the top to lock them on.

I use powder (Pro-Tec and Magic Dust) for painting. Bake them in the oven for 15-20 minutes and clear coat them with Devcon 30 minutes epoxy. The finish is really tough

the best way is to spray white over painted blades. then do the artwork. providing the blade was painted correctly in the first place.years back we did production blade painting.

Paint the inside of the blade.
