| I have seen plenty of folks having problems this year at the landings, lots of cowels off, crooked loading, loading gear in the boat from the car AFTER they waited in line. I can tell you I have seen it all.
Who here has some good stories to tell.[:)] |

| Get there first on a weekday like I did a few yrs ago...unfortunately me rope popped + she floated away...about 45 minutes later another boat finally showed up + gave me a ride to me craft, which by now had drifted 100 yrds or so from the ramp...make sure your guide rope is fresh! [:sun:] |

| I have a good story[:praise:]
Once Schuler backed up the trailer in the water and his boat started to float away it was a good thing I jumped in from the dock otherwise his boat would of been in the middle of hte lake w/ no passengers[] |

| Waiting in line to get on the lake one time I saw a guy with his 3 friends (looked like the 4 tops) towing this 23ft cabin cruiser with a 1982? Lincoln Continental. Needless to say he backs it up on the ramp and the car bottoms out on the peak of the ramp. Was a mess and delyed us from going out by about an hour. It looked like they should have been singing "Standin' in the shadows of love, gettin' ready for the heartaches to come!".

| Opening day I watched an elderly couple trying to launce a pontoon boat, The guy had one tire on the ramp and the other tire on the dock. He kept yelling to his wife, HOW DO I LOOK. and she kept saying GOOD BRING IT BACK. at this time I am jumping from the dock, back into my boat to get the Hell outta there. My brother is screaming STOP STOP finally the guy stopped with his boat about 10 feet onto the dock. I wish I would have had a camera, Funiest thing I have seen in awhile.

| Parking the truck and trailer at Dale Hollow, I hear from the boat:" Hey, Dad, bring me the drain plug". So, I go running to the dock with the stupid plug in my hand, then stop, wondering how I'm a gonna reach way down under the boat to install it. Got a quick flash of brilliance and backed the trailer into the water, loaded the boat, drained it, plugged the hole, and we went fishing. You can tell when the season starts and a few details you are a bit rusty on. m |
