Location: Ft. Wayne, Indiana | I am in the the market for a new reel, because of all the problems I keep having with my Record. I am pretty sure it id going to be a Shimano Calcutta. But the question is should I get the 400 B or the 400 TE? Is the TE worth the extra $120?

Location: Lebanon,Mo | I picked up the 400B last week and used it for almost two days so far. It's the most I have ever spent on a reel and it is awesome.Very smooth, quit, comfortable paddle handle. That extra 120.00 can buy my three kids two more days of groceries. |

| The TE is worth every penny. I few of mine have about a zillion hours on them and I haven't had a single problem, ever. |
