if it's what I'm thinking it is, should be available in any shop that sells fly tying supplies. i've considered doing something similar to some of my baits, if you get a good result post some pics.

if you can't find it locally, staminainc.com is one of many outlets where you can find it. i've tied bucktails with it and it wasn't difficult to work with.

It's actually called Fibetts. It is a fly tying material used for mayfly tails. I have been using for a couple of seasons on "other baits "and it is very easy to use.

I believe that Snax is using the same material for his baits as are a couple of others out there. It is prety pricy hough (for what you get).

Microfiber or fibetts is great stuff and I have been using it myself for several years. I recently started using it on my ultra realistic swim baits that I plan on selling shortly. The fibers aren't cheap but I will still be able to keep my swim baits at around 50 bucks. They are of hardwood with glass eyes and have hinged bodies unlike anything on the market today. I placed the fiber fins in such a way
to catch the water and cause the bait to have really nice action. I'll post a picture of them before to long. Larry
