Going through all my spinnerbaits and finding nearly all of them have that sickness where all the rubber skirts stick together. Beyond just going strand by strand and pulling them apart, is there a better way? Also, is there somethign to do too keep this from happening in the future?

I have this same problem. NO ONE knows the answer to this problem? Seriously?

Reel Magic. Not sure if it can bring bad ones back to life, but it can certainly prevent it from happening.

I think WD40 would probably work just as well also.

I never tried it but this guy told me that baby powder works. Put some in a baggie with the lure & shake it. He does it when the seasons over.

You can buy skirts cheap enough. I make my own and instead of using a rubber band that will rod, I pull and crimp a double loop of 30lb sevenstrand. If the lead shank part is long or could slip, I put a dab of jb weld on it to keep it from sliding first then add the skirt.
