what kinds and brands of paint do you all use.......i work in an autobody shop and have access to all kinds of colors and i also own an airbrush do you think automotive paint will work???

just curious

sounds fun to catch some fish on your own color combos that you come up with on your own

automotive paintswillwork. remember to seal your bait and use a good finish coat. its like building a sandwhich.

I use all House of Kolor products.
I stick with one product line to avoid any unwanted interaction.
If you work in a body shop, I'm sure that you have access to HOK products.

HOK is pretty spendy the brand we use has a candy color line though.....probably more reasonable than HOK.......for sanding what grits do you use........500-1500?

It's spendy, but you can thin it 100%+ on lures....not like autos. It goes a long way, and dries hard and fast.
Once I started using it, I never regretted it. Get some good deals on e-bay too.

doin some side work on a buddy audi this weekend.....thinkin about bringin in a topraider that well.......has seen better days with its paint
