Here are 4 shots of my sucker tank. The first shows the tank from the top, second shows the canister filter. The third shows the fill or refreshing tube. I fill the tank from the bottom. The pvc tube has hundreds of holes drilled in it . This acts like a strong current and suspends all the particles so the filter inlet can get them out or they just go out the 3 inch drain that I mounted at the top of the tank. I can turn the water on and walk away for 15 minutes and let the tank refresh . I then clean the filter screen and Im good for about 7 days. The basement is cool and keeps the water temps under 60 so I have good cool water for the fish. The 4th picture shows the top which is made from 2 by 2 boards with plastic mesh stapled to the bottom. Sucker will jump out of a tank if they can see a way out. Yes Im past the point where sanity resides in my head. Kingfisher

I only have 7 left from the first 20. They were hiding next to the edge on the bottom. They all kind of huddle together when I turn the lights on. After I turn the lights off and feed them you can hear them splashng around taking pellets off the surface. I have one big one thats about 18 inches. That one has a date with a certain Michigan 50 incher that I have been chasing for the last couple of years. Kingfisher

Nice set up Mike. But you don't need suckers that big. You and I know their are no big Muskie's in Michigan,
