Location: Contrarian Island | with the cold snap are most if not all the deeper lakes turned? anyone up in Vilas/Iron to give some recent reports?

Location: Waukesha & Land O Lakes, WI | I was up in Vilas last weekend. Water temps were as high as 54.5 and as low as 52. With the current cold snap, you're probally looking at about 50. Yes, lakes have turned. I don't know where you're going, but if I were you, I'd think about the Turtle Chain. |

| well with the howling winds forecast for saturday we are gonna try to get out of the wind and hit a small lake between Mercer and Winchester that I haven't been on before but I have heard has some nice fish....plus it's like 100 acres so we might actually last all day in 15-20 mph winds
Sunday is a crapshoot depending on winds...maybe Mani Chain, maybe more pothole lakes....

Location: Oconto Falls, WI | Brad, not sure what it is currently like but as of last weekend the Mani Chain hadn't started turning yet. I would expect the chain to be mid-late turn this weekend. JJ is up right now so if you have his number give him a jingle. |

Location: Contrarian Island | was up this weekend..from what I saw...all lakes are done turning....fished some deep and shallow lakes and they all were done at least from what I could tell...water temps were under 50 on all lakes fished |
