| Im planning a trip with a group of friends to LOTW Sabaskong bay September 2007, a long way off I know but we need to book flights, accomodation etc in advance. The question Im asking you guys is which two weeks would you go for, the first two or the last two weeks? we are aiming for the bigger Muskie rather than numbers of fish, Dave. |

| I would think the later the better, although I've only been up there in July and August myself. Some people get some brutes up there in late October too. Good luck. |

Location: South Portsmouth, KY | Hey, I have only been up there to sabaskong in july also. Awsome water. After talking to some guides while we was up there i would say the last week of september. October is their big fish time up there so the last week in sept should be good. At least this is what the guides said when we asked them about fall fishin up there. hope this helps.

Once you fish the woods you will not want to fish anywhere else.
Like others have said for size the later the better but you could very well get skunked, for numbers (No Promises) with some size mixed in late August to mid September would probably be best bet
Good Luck on whenever you decide to go
