Location: Brookfield, WI | I just want everyone to know. Since this will be my first year fishing muskies, and the people here and on other boards have been so nice and helpful, I'm going to limit my biggest catches this season to between 50 and 60 pounds. I would rather see someone who's put a little more time into the sport get the record.
I'll decide about next year after this season.

| My first is still my longest. I can remember the night pefectly. I was on Eagle Lake fishing with Steve Herbeck. About the third cast at this spot and she hit a bucktail right as I started reeling. The first is the best. Be ready for the wobbly knees. Good Luck |

That's about right. I thought the same for over 30 years, and managed to underperform pretty consistently. I figure I'm due for that 62 Pound 11.5 Ounce muskie in July, 2013, on the 5th at 1:40 PM. Then again... |
