| hi there,
I am Fabio and I write from Italy, first post for me on this great board that I read almost every day from quite long time, and finally decide to register. I fish for pikes... sometimes big ones...
I am intrested in buying the new twist reef hawg when it will be available here in the nearby.
I love reef hawgs, and I have caught fish on them expecially on the weighted ones, but what you think of this new one? somebody tried it maybe at shows? sink rate?
thanks in advance.

| Fabio,
To my knowledge they are not yet available. I haven't called any of the stores (Thornes, Musky Shop, etc.) or seen much info on the Fudally website. I also love the Reef Hawg and think that the new one will be one of the top new lures for 2006. Maybe someone else will know more.

| I saw one last night and had expected it to be a wood bait with a rubber tail, but actually the entire bait is rubber, like a bulldawg. It still has the reef hawg shape and the mouth cuts, like a regular reef hawg. I also HEARD that there were some that went out to the Minneapolis show that were not weighted correctly and have been "recalled". The guy that did the seminar I was at was busy yacking with other people so I didn't get a chance to ask how it runs or if he liked it. |
