| Anyone own/fished out of one of these? Is it the best of both worlds for fish/ski or jack of all trades, master of none? I will be in the market for a boat in the near future and at first glance they look good enough to me and the better half is sold on them (likes the padded front bench stuff). Would be on smaller lakes 90% of the time with occasion trips to LOTW or other similar big water.
Thanks

| Ryan,
Take a look at a Statos 386XF. See what you think and maybe save some money.

| Jay-Thanks for the advice, I will check them out, but after fishing out of a Ranger I think I'll find it hard to consider much else, plus there is not a Stratos dealer in my area.
Does anyone else have experience with the Reatas?
Thanks,

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | I looked them over at the shows last winter. The interior is fishing friendly, and the price is right. I personally wouldn't own a fish and ski because of the lost fishing room, but this one is done right. |

Location: God's Country......USA..... Western Wisconsin | Just got our first "06" 1850 in this morning. Fitted with a Yamaha 150 4 stroke. Stop by and take a look if you are in our neck of the woods. We sold approx 15 of these boats in the "05" model with very, very few complaints about anything. Seems to be a great boat for the entire family. It is the best seller that Ranger makes right now. A new 1750 was added for "06" . We have 5 more 1850s coming and 5 of the 1750s coming. Hope to see you in the store one of these days and yes, I have been out in these boats and they are very nice to ride in and fish out of. |
