Posts: 4266 | Just wanted to let you guys know that even though the Castor operation is going through some changes, I'm still here to repair and repaint lures for you guys. Don't ruin your wood lures by using them after the wood is exposed and hook scratches turn into gouges. Use some clear nail polish on problem areas, but if the clearcoat is coming off or if you're not too fond of the color you have, maybe I can help. It'll be like Beaver90210. Here's some pics of some Weagles, Wabulls and HR's that I've done. I'll try to repair them as best as I can, and you pick the color. I hope your lures get so chewed up that you have to contact me. Posts: 7123 Location: Northwest Chicago Burbs | Yes, those are my HRs....and I can say I am VERY impressed with their new outfits, and VERY excited to get to use them. Now that Beav has his re-painting business up and running, I will be sending more trashed lures to the new Lure Doctor.

Posts: 4266 | Remember, being a Lure Doctor, I have the right to pull the plug on any lure that I cannot save. Some of them are just beyond help. Dr Beaver......sounds kinky

Posts: 2112 Location: The Sportsman, home, or out on the water | kinky indeed! LOL. Beav, Have you ever done a Hi-Fin, or a Mouldys for somebody? I will never take on one of those again, unless they strip it first. It is as if the original paint is wax based. By the way, you are the painter I aspire to be someday. Great work, man. Posts: 4266 | Ran into that problem with Power Probes. The sealer on it isn't compatable with the paint I used and it all peeled off like a fish skin. Once you strip the lure and see shiny wood, you know that you're in trouble. Beav
