Posts: 186 Location: Kaukauna, Wisconsin | All right my whole family wants a new boat and my dad and i want a boat that will be capable to fish for muskies. I like the Crestliner 1850 or 1750 Fish Hawk SC and my dad was looking at a Triton DV 168. I think that the Triton is not wide enough and not long enough. To let you know the lakes or what type of water we will be fishing; Lake Winnebego, Hayward Lakes area, Lake poygan, and stuff like that. So let me know what you think?

| I live near the Winnebago system and recently purchased a Crestliner 1850SC. It handles great, I have had it out on the middle of Winnebago and it can conquer that lake. I mostly fish muskies and can't wait for the opener this weekend. The boat sits lower than other aluminums I have fished out of. I think this will be a great asset for muskies. My friends run glass, but for the added cost I can't justify the difference in price, especially since the Crestliner is more than adequate. Good luck! | |||

| Take a look at the 1700 Esox Deep V from Tuffy. Fort Fremont marine in Wisconsin has one from what I see on another website I looked it over and it's very nice ride for a very nice dollar. Also if you're into aluminum look at the Starcraft. | |||

Posts: 1536 Location: God's Country......USA..... Western Wisconsin | Find a dealer near you ad take a quick look at the new Ranger 1850 Reata. If you trully want a boat for the family that will fish great this is one that deserves at least a look. It is Rangers number one selling boat this year. It is also the widest boat in their lineup. You will be pleasantly surprised with the price as well. We have sold ten of these boats this so far this Spring. Our customers love them so far. Very early in the season but great reports to date.

Posts: 2091 Location: Stevens Point, WI | I bought a 2004 Tuffy Deep V last year and it handles the big water easily. The 2005 is even better with a much better layout, probably the best layout of any boat I have ever seen.
