I've been gone from the board too long, new house and back problems which are forcing me to retire at a ripe old age of 43. Besides the Cave Run Outing I have only been fishing one other time this year, but am looking forward to next year.

My question is, what is the difference between the Undertaker and the Wabull as in their action and ease of use? I am looking for a new "Round" style glider and was not happy with the Viper. Also does anyone have any experience with the Muskie Magic Instigator?

The Undertaker is smaller and runs shallower, a very good and easy bait to use. The Wabull rocks, this thing will dance and runs deeper.

Both baits have the side to side and up to down swings. Like MM said, the wabull is considerably larger than the undertaker. Im my opinion the advantage goes to the wabull. Not only can you work it over shallow weeds with a wider swing, but you have option of working the breaklines at a slower pace. I also like the fact that the wabull has three hooks compared to the undertaker with two. I've missed a number of fish on the undertaker and Im 2 for 2 on the wabull. Also, since the wabull has a larger profile I feel more confident working it in open water. Dont get me wrong, I've given undertakers a lot of time and they are great baits, but my votes for the wabull.

Wabull is much heavier too.

Great action on this bait. I haven't given it much work because I have been throwing Weagles all year.

The Wabull is much better and more hooks, you can cast that baby a country mile in the wind!

Undertaker is a great bait, smaller is better under tough conditions

So, general conditions, Weagle topwater and Wabull glider...Team Musky Nut rocks!
Tough conditions where downsizing is appropriate, Jackpot or Viper topwater and Undertaker or Phantom glider.

I consider the wabull to be a giant undertaker. You can do all the same tricks with it you can the underaker. Pretty unique in a very large glidebait. I have both and I like both.
