| I will be staying on Big Sand lake in Vilas County Wisconsin the weekend of oct 9. I have had years of experience fishing other lakes in the area (Twin, ER Chain, etc) but have never fished Big Sand. Any advice would be appreciated. |

Location: Tomahawk, Wisconsin | The lake should be turned by then, fish the weedlines, keep the boat in 15 or so, slot out by the gazebo is classic, they love meat out there, out from the boat landing there is a nice edge go left go right, success on just about all from hair to gliders to cranks, did I mention meat???!!!! Look at your map and study, don't be afraid to go shallow, there are tigers in there and they do tend to show themselves at this time, best of luck, Dave |

Location: champaign, illinois | Not the original poster, and definitely not a pro, but for the few hours spent fishing last week we ended up with three hooked and two in the boat, all caught on live bait. Two largest, a 44" and a hooked/lost fish in the same class came on suckers. A 20" tiger was also caught but on a slip bobbered large red tail.
Haven't got around to it but I want to thank Beaver for some info he gave me about locations. Thanks Beav!
