What are the water temps in your area, the midwest has been slammed with hot weather the last few weeks, water temps are spiking, might be time to hang it up for a few weeks.

I primarily fish southern wisconsin looking at the bouy on lake monona its showing around 80* surface temp. The long range temps here are showing highs in the upper 80s, so ive made an appointment with my buddy who happens to be one of the premier lund/alumacraft transom guys in the midwest, for july 11th to get the nasty plywood taken out and have a new coosa board transom put in the 08 tournament pro 185.

what are you guys seeing?

I have not been out this week, but a buddy was out yesterday and said temps were in the mid 70s on the Three Lakes chain. We have had some warm weather but have a lot of rain, 6" last week alone. That tends to keep water cooler, especially on flowages like Three Lakes/Eagle River.

Pretty warm water for that far north. It looks like were all in the same boat with hot water. Hopefully by the end of july it will cool down enough for safe fishing.

Still good here in Duluth, imagine it's getting close on Island up over the hill but we are good down here in the harbor.

are you actively fishing muskies on lake superior? Ive always thought there could be absolute Giants, but there has to be incredibly low population. My limited knowledge of lake superior is that it never gets warm

Its a kayak small mouth morning tomorrow, then hopefully salmon Saturday or Sunday. Maybe sneak out for bluegills if no one is looking!

Water temps have to be mid 80s by me, muskies on hold!
