Looking for rattle-less.

Can’t seem to buy direct from Drifter.

In Ontario but fine to pay shipping from US.

Anyone know of any retailers who carry?

For what ever reason the Drifter/Mania/Sennet/ERC are now for the time being selling to the public (I've bought a lot of lures from these folks maybe they will go back to selling in the future) In the past they have quit also. In the early 90's the Believers were rattle less. Try placing a add in the Buy Sale or Trade section of this website. Or you can

Look for the old ones with the flat sided hook hangers, they usually don’t have rattles.

Get some with rattles, drill a small hole in them, and fill them with expanding foam.
Most will leak after some use so they will need the foam to keep them afloat. Once filled with foam, they have no rattles. 2 holes are needed, one to inject the foam (same size as the tube on the foam can) and the other (smaller) to allow the air to escape. When the foam exits the lure, just let it dry and then cut it off with a razor knife blade. Seal it with some sort of glue/epoxy. Do a bunch at the same time. In my experience. most/all Drifter lures will leak after moderate use. I always bought a number of Drifter lures at the same time, and I never waited for them to leak. I took them out of the package and foamed them before they hit the water.
I often add a bell sinker to the head split ring if I want added depth. The sinker will add a knock to the lure.

The one time I was at Lake Of The Woods a friend went to a spot someone marked 40 pounder on his map he went there and lost a large fish on a 8" jointed Believer and it got off but punched holes (teeth marks) in his lure.
