Mikie gave him all he needs to know to get started. By my count I've fished 17 of those waters. Plus two that aren't on the map.

There's more than just a few lakes & rivers not marked on West end of that map, but you are right, it has most of the high points, and definitely has good places to start. As far as tips, try all size baits in your searches. The fish in several of those lakes & rivers shown prefer smaller to mid-sized baits most of the season. From 3" bigger bodied cranks, 1/2 oz weedless swim jigs, and #4 or 5 blade spinners on up.
