I know two part epoxies are considered the best lure clear coats, but I'm looking for a clear coat that you can just dip a bait in and be done. I'm not a big fan of mixing the epoxy and brushing it on every single bait.

Two options possibly for dipping is some sort of UV cure like AlumiUV. And the other is KBS diamond clear. I don't know anything about these really. I think dipping small bass lures would be easy, I think you will run into problems attempting this with larger Muskie lures. But I figured I'd let you know what is out there as a starting point.

Thanks for the reply... I've heard good things about KBS diamond! You're right about the muskie baits being too big for most cans, but I do a lot of smaller baits too.

I was looking around online the other day and I found something called; eagle gloss clear coat concrete sealer. It intrigued me because it's only 25$ for a gallon and one review said that after 5 years of exposure to uv rays and weather, it still looked perfect on their concrete. Do you think it would perform well on baits?

I just use E-Tex Light for larger than 6" under I use KBS. I have settled in on these two and I don't chase any other coatings.
The cheaper concrete sealer isn't worth the problems plus plastic lures and the carpeting in the boat it sticks to them.
