| Shabbona and Shelbyville are both open, or at least should be. I was able to get out on shabbona last week when i was on thanksgiving break, managed a 38 for the few hours I was out. The lake was completely open, and from what I have heard from back home it hasnt been very cold or anything so there shouldnt be any ice. Shelbyville is down me, and nothing is frozen down here. |

Location: champaign, illinois | Shelbyville is open but has been up and now they are dropping lake level which usually makes for lousy fishing on the lake but good in the spillway.
Not sure who submits the report for Kinkaid but it was yesterdays Tribune hot spot of the week especially for muskies and crappie.
