Posts: 2089 | Has anybody used or currently using this box?The clear tube deal I bought this summer for 45 bucks has broken twice but the duct tape seems to be holding it together now. I like to keep a small stash of baits on the deck w/ me and want something easily accessible. Any thoughts?

Posts: 7123 Location: Northwest Chicago Burbs | Better idea: give me all of your un-NEEDED HRs (how many does one man truly need), then give me all the other gliders, suicks, bobbis, and for good measure dawgs, jakes, and other cranks that you dont use in a single day.....I will keep this small stash of baits you have me HOLD til you really NEED them. By doing this plan you can eliminate the need for this Bibs Box thing by only having a handful of baits which you can just dump on the deck of your Fiberglass Floating Dock, and you just saved however much money you would have spent on this Bibs Box. That money you saved you can split with me, as a consulting and holding your excess baits fee. I like this plan, read it over a few times, I think you'll see the wisdom of it.

Posts: 358 | Senior Slamr, You are truly a great American! Kind, compassionate, caring, thoughtful, courteous, generous, need I go on? I think not. However, it is concern for you that I write this. Your offer to take on such a monumental task as to hold SO MANY baits for MR. Jonesi has me concerned for your well being. So, it is with a true sense of well being for my fellow man, that I believe that you should deposit most (if not all) of the HR's, Jakes, Crankbaits, Glide Baits, etc. at my humble estate (3-Bdrm tract house in the burbs of Chicago) I would be MORE than happy to safeguard them and await MR. Jonesi's request to return them to their rightful owner. And if by chance, a few of them happen to fall out of their packaging and into my paint booth, then roll gently past the top coating machine, bouncing off the new split ring box, that just so happened to be next to the new box of VMC hooks, well, it would be my duty to still return them. Oh He$$, who I am kidding, no way would those baits ever leave my Lakewood box!

Posts: 2089 | Dude, Why you want all my stuff? What will I leave my kids when I get struck by lightning on LOTW in the fiberglass floating dock(620) while weilding the 8 1/2 foot graphite staff? I've invested over 25 years in accumulating so much crap that one could never use in 2 lifetimes on the water.Do I need more? No. Do I want more?Depends , haven't been to the Chicago show yet but would bet that 8 1/2 foot graphite staff that the answer would be a resounding yes!Lets face it, muskie baits are cool. I bet my wife wishes I fondled her as much as I fondle baits.Could be some hand/bait fixation. Better check with the therapist.Actually it's the mojo that must be applied to the bait.Gotta get enough on there so it won't come off after repeated washings.Going out tomorrow to wash some 8" Tuff Shads. Better go apply some mojo! Steve

Posts: 7123 Location: Northwest Chicago Burbs | Steve, My mother is a therapist, call me, I will give you her office number. Because I am your friend, I am suggesting that this is something that might really help you. If you dont want to go with that option, we can try Plan C (A being the Bibs Box Plan, B being therpay): you give me all your lures, and your diamondbacks, tell the wife you "lost them" and that you now need to go buy all new ones. Instead of fighting your insanity, FEED IT. You can relieve yourself of the burden of "wow, do i really need more stuff? but GOD I want to buy more stuff" and just go hog wild buying again. I'm here for you man. Mike, NO WAY.

Posts: 440 | All this help you get Steve, great friends all of them. But really, don't spend the 4 hrs driving to Chi town. I will just come over after work and pick up the lures. If you ever need them back it is only a 25 minute drive. The storage fee will be minimal. PS. I don't know how you call 35 baits in the bibs a small stash. I guess if you are working on percentage of baits owned it could be considered small. JK
