| I really never believed a figure 8 would do anything for me, but I have always done them anyway. Today i was casting off docks because it was too windy for the boat and I was just casting my pikie minnow and i just figured eighted it like usual and all the sudden a smaller muskie (30 inches maybe) hit it but I didn't get it hook. No fish caught, but I will definetly never forget to figure 8 now. |

| Same thing for me with Tigers. I didn't think it really worked for Tigers either until a friend of mine got one at the side of the boat on a figure 8. I never have, but have had a couple grab a lure just as I was about to lift it out of the water. In Fisherman has some tapes in which you actually see the anglers catching them that way. |

| That's what is neat about figure eights. I have three hits on the eight this year and boated one. Two came from absolute nowhere. Nowhere to be seen untill that bait changed direction and KABOOM!! Just because you don't see one does not mean it's not there. |

| I was lucky enough to catch my first musky ever on a figure eight. That make you a believer. One note on figure eights. Don't make a figure eight while pre-fishing tournaments. I caught a nice 40"er on a figure eight the thursday before the Three lakes PMTT two years ago. Would have been nice to catch him during to tournament.
Figure eights work!!! |

| I caught my biggest on an 8, and will never forget the fish taking that Musky Buster bucktail, third time around. |
