Location: Stone Lk Wi | My son and I are heading up to Reindeer lake Saskatchewan next month, main target will be Lake Trout and Pike. I've never been there so some pointers would be great if any of you have been. Also plan on bringing some Bondy baits to jig for Lake Trout so if anyone has any experience with that, colors, weight ect. |

Location: Elk River, Minnesota | Hiya,
Get yourself a bunch of the 3/4 oz little cleos to take along. Those will be great for pike. Gold and maroon is a great color for most conditions, but blue and silver are good on dark cloudy rainy days. Yellow with red 5 dots is a hot color as well.
They cast really well in all conditions and they just flat out catch fish.
I have about 40 of them...

| Something tells me with a place like that the fish will be easy to catch - find. Good luck. |

| I was on Reindeer about 20 years ago. Traditional pike baits: Raps, spinner baits, and various spoons worked well, but actually giant slug-gos were the best producer for us.
We put up stupid numbers of pike with quite a few over 40". My biggest was 47". A friend of mine got a 51".
We mostly trolled for lakers w/ bigger Raps.
