| I have a person interested in buying my boat but he’s from Canada. Has anyone dealt with this before? What do you all have to do? Is there any extra taxes or fees for him? |

| It’s easy. You provide him with a receipt. He needs paperwork to prove there is no lien on the boat and trailer. He needs the trailer registration/ownership too. The trailer must have proper vin info sticker on it.
He stops at border on way over to declare his cash and intent to buy your boat. He then stops on way home to pay HST plus a 200$ trailer registration fee. |

| Make sure he has the trailer ownership. That is what they care about most when crossing back into Canada. |

| They only really care about the trailer and liens. |
