| If you link a model with side imaging to a model without it can you view the side imaging on the lesser model? Both would be G2N. |

Location: NE Ohio | yes. you can go into the settings and change things to read the side imaging transducer from the other unit. lots of you tube stuff on it. |

| Are you sure about that? You're saying if you have a mega 10 G2N at the helm and a chirp 7 G2N on the bow then you can see the SI on the 7? That doesn't seem right. |

Yep. The image is is mirrored from the master unit (Console) and the screen view is shared to the bow. Page 92 of this document will show this for the poster's situation, plus any configuration you may be wondering about.
