| I am heading to cass for the first time and camping at Norway beach. I am fishing solo so it's tough to establish a pattern quickly. I am only staying for a couple days. I was hoping for a little advice to get me started. Don't need anything to specific just something broad to go off of. Any advice would be much appreciated! Thank you in advance. Luke |

| Book a guide trip with Kevin Cochran. You will learn more about Cass in an 8 hour day with him than you would in 10 years. Cass is a tough body of water and has become a different animal in the last few years with the introduction of zebra mussels. |

Location: Almond, WI | Kevin did just post some availability for this month on his FB guide service page so check on that to see if any are within your trip. Cass is often brutal so it is a really good idea to fish with someone that knows it, especially early in the season. |

| Believe me I would love to spend a day with Kevin but it wasn't in the budget for this trip. I ended up just fishing little wolf and Plantagenet. Cass seemed like too big of nut to crack. Moved some fish but no eaters. The wife and I were at least able to catch some fish right in front of the campsite. |

Location: Almond, WI | Nothing wrong with fishing those two lakes, and MUCH easier than Cass, especially early in the season. |
