| Does anyone have any current information about these two lakes? We typically fish them 2 or 3 times a year, but
have only fished each of them once this year?

| I have moved a bunch of fish on Deer this year. I have not been out there as much as other years. I lost a high 40-maybe 50 in fish 3 weeks ago.
I have had good luck on Perch colored baits. Ernies, bucktails, Jakes.
This year all the bigger fish were related to the deep weed edges in the 10+ ft range. |

| PappaJoe and I fished Bone for about 12 hours last Saturday. Great day to be on the water, we had thick clouds with some sparce rain and a little wind for chop. We each boated a fish and talked to a guy who boated two as well. All fish moved around dark, it seemed. Hair got them all: 3 on bucktails and one 38" on a big black spinnerbait after dark. All the fish were located on a single deep weed edge just off deeper water. I think if we knew what to do we might have moved suspended fish during the day, we sure marked plenty.
And the Monster Burger was good at Wilkinson's Tavern. |

| We brought our son over to Deer today, we saw no muskies, however it was great to have some clouds. The water was great, so we fished
bass and crappies. Our son does not fish much, so it was nice to have him catch some bass and crappies. The recreational hatch came off mid-morning. At its worst
it was still better than Tonka would have been today. Thanks to the people who responded! It makes it easier to develop a pattern for the day.
